Age 85, of Clarkston, passed away January 7, 2019. He was born on June 1, 1933 in Detroit, MI, to the late Phillip and the late Frances Rizzo. Loving husband of the late Georgina; cherished father of Regina (Michael) Soroka, Mark (the late Sandra) Rizzo and Teressa (Darin) Farough; dearest grandfather of Rachel (Jeremy), Carole (Jeff), Michael, Amy (Jeff), Amanda (Daniel), Allyson, Zachary, Tristan and Evan; great grandfather of Jenna, Jacob, William, Olivia, Matthew and little Dan; brother of Anthony (the late Bette) Rizzo and Phillip (Laura) Rizzo. Vincent was the president of the Roseville High School Class of 1952. He served his county in the United States Army during the Korean War era and went on to own an engineering business which he worked at until he was 80 years old. Although he worked very hard, he always made his family a priority and never missed anything big or small. He enjoyed family vacations, gardening, the casino and playing cards. His humor, laughter and giving spirit will be missed by all who knew him.

My love and condolences to the Rizzo clan. I was honored to have known Vince only over the past few years and have seen how much he loved his family. Though he may no longer be with us, his legacy of love and connection will carry his memory forward.
Vinnie was like my second dad. It was a pleasure going to the lake for his annual birthday fishing trip. Mark MaryAnn, my wife, and myself would pick him up and head north. He really liked going. Even though he only caught minows. When the weather was not so pleasant he didn't care. He would tough it out. He was a trooper. We would drift all over the lake and listen to his stories. On our way up or coming home we always stopped at his favorite restaurant Luckys. He will be missed. Fishing wont be the same without him.
My prayers and go to you and your family. You were truly blessed.

Mark and family, my deepest condolences. Your dad gave Rich his start in the business. He was a great man growing up on Rosemont St. I see in the obit that the family has grown many generations. He must have been very proud. RIP

Our thoughts are with the Rizzo family so sorry for your loss. Darrell is a '52 graduate from Roseville High too and we both enjoyed the reunions with Vince. He did such a great job for the class or'52 keeping them all together he will be missed by us all.
My condolences to the Rizzo family and friends. So sorry to hear of your loss. Sending added love and prayers, today, tomorrow and future.??????
Such sad news! Vince and the entire Rizzo family are great people. Vince and Mark gave me my first ‘real’ job many years ago at Ken-Tec. Vince was an old-school guy that drove his people hard, but we always had a good time and he cared for everyone. He was at my wedding and pretty much stole the show with his candy table that is still talked about to this day...22 years ago! Thank you for everything! You will be missed!
