McGREGOR Anna Viola
of Waterford. Died September 29, 2018. She was 87. Born December 29, 1930 in Providence, Rhode Island to the late William and Myrtle (nee: Carr) Murphy. She is survived by one daughter, Raye Ann (Tim) McCurdy; three sons, Jonathan McGregor, Timothy (Brenda) McGregor and Jason (Lisa) McGregor; eight grandchildren, Evelyn, Matthew, Elise, Jessica, Cody, Lain, Megan and Cassandra; eight great grandchildren, Javier, Gabriel, Mikayla, Kinley, Jayden, Devin, Rebecca and Dillon; one sister, Dorothy “Dottie” Slusser; one brother Robert (Fua) Murphy; She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Raymond Lawrence McGregor; one granddaughter, Samantha; one brother, William Murphy. Anna was a longtime member of Bethany Church, Waterford and was a teacher’s aide for Waterford Schools. For over 30 years she was a member of the Craft Club/Crazy Ladies who became her longtime girlfriends. Anna was highly creative who loved arts and crafts of all kinds. She was a voracious reader, who loved biographies and genealogy. Anna had an influence in everything she did. She loved her home state of Rhode Island.
Monday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at COATS FUNERAL HOME, Waterford.
Tuesday, October 9, 2018, 10:00 a.m. at Bethany Church (1375 Hiller Road, Waterford). Pastor Dennis Henderson officiating. Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery. Arrangements were entrusted to VILLAGE FUNERAL HOME-ORTONVILLE.
