84, of Palm Harbor Florida, formerly of Clarkston, MI, passed away March 16th.
William was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Patricia, and two grandchildren, Marcus and Madison.
He is survived by his five children; Michael (Denise), David (Karyl), LuAnne (Glenn) Therrien, William (Karen), and Richard (Cheryl).
His grandchildren; Michael (Ronne), Matthew, Jay, Lea, Brenden (Summer), Courtney, Jenna, Cassie, Austin and Blake.
Great grandchildren; Marcus, Oliver, and Marceline.
And loving companion, Barbara Stager.
William was a GM retiree, a Korean war veteran, and a member of Roosevelt Masonic lodge 510 in Pontiac, MI.
Bill loved working with wood. After retirement, he added a woodshop to the back of their house on Angelus Dr. and began making furniture and doing some pattern work. While in Florida, he volunteered at Toymakers, making toys for kids.
Bill also enjoyed reading, traveling and golf, and he and Patricia took annual trips to SC to play golf with friends.
William will greatly be missed by us all.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 12, 2018 from 12:00 until 3:00 p.m.
Memorial service Saturday, May 12th, 2018, 3:00 pm at COATS FUNERAL HOME-WATERFORD. A luncheon will immediately follow at Waterford Church of Christ.
So sorry to hear about Bill's passing! He was a great neighbor on Angelus Drive and I loved to hear his stories! My prayers to the family!
