PORTWOOD Randall Craig
“RANDY” of White Lake and Waterford, passed away January 1, 2018 at 66 years of age. Loving husband of Georgia; dear father of Justin and Sean Portwood; brother of Cheryle (Mel) Emel, Demaris (Hal) Farah, and Roxann (Ted) Mendoza; son in law of Donald (Edie) Ringler and the late Laura Ringler; brother in law of Sue (Bill) Orosey and Gail Ringler. Preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Marian (nee Bird) Portwood. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and his beloved dog, Bella. Randy was an administrator for the Waterford School District for over 40 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golf, boating, biking, and a lover of dogs. He enjoyed almost anything that was outdoors. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Family will receive friends Thursday, 3:00-8:00 PM CLARKSTON LOCATION ON DIXIE HIGHWAY.
Friday, January 5, 2018 at 10:00 AM at COATS FUNERAL HOME-CLARKSTON. Burial Ottawa Park Cemetery, Clarkston.
Memorials may be made to Waterford Foundation for Public Education or the Michigan Humane Society.

So sorry for your loss. I met Randy when we went to Central Michigan Univirsity and I was seeing Randy's roommate Bill. After college I ran into Randy again when I was hired to teach in Waterford. We had a wonderful friendship and I know he will be missed by all who all who knew him.

My very sincere condolences.Randy's mother and my father, Donald Cook were at WKHS together. Demaris and I graduated and went to EMU. I know this is a very sad time for your family and will be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.
