MARTIN Ronald Robert
of Clarkston, died October 7, 2017 at 75 years of age. Born January 3, 1942 in Pontiac, Michigan, the son of the late Ammon and Florence Martin. Beloved husband of the late Donna Jean (Oct. 1, 2017) for 58 years; loving father of Larry (Robin) Martin, Kim (Wes) Wilder, Tony (Melissa) Martin, the late Dawn Martin and the late Robert Martin; dearest grandfather of 6; dear brother of Ace (Linda) Martin, Larry (Karen) Martin, Janice (Chris) Reppuhn, Linda (Jim) Scheifflee, the late Joanne Rivard and the late Donna Jean Nelson. Also survived by his lifelong friend of 70 plus years Bill Sekulich, many nieces, nephews and a large extended family. Ronald retired from General Motors after 30 plus years of service. He loved to socialize with people, especially when going to the casino, poker tournaments or bowling.
Family will receive friends Monday from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at our CLARKSTON location.
Tuesday October 10, 2017 at 12:00 noon at COATS FUNERAL HOME-CLARKSTON (8909 Dixie Hwy, Clarkston). Burial at All Saints Cemetery, Waterford.

My dad was the most loving, caring, giving father a daughter could have. He was fun loving, hard working & always joking kinda man. He loved my mom with all his heart. I knew he would be with me long after she left us. I am so going to miss them both. Love you dad

Uncle Ronnie was the best uncle to his niece, I was so lucky and blessed that I could call him my uncle. I'm going to miss visiting with you and Aunt Donna, you always made me laugh. There are just no words right now. We miss you dearly. I am happy you are with Grandma and out of pain, but we miss you so. Stealing snacks and cookies, frozen custard at Swirlz, just so many happy memories.
