Jill and i were so sad to hear about Vern. So sorry he was a very nice man.
I was a student of his back in the late 70’s. I always enjoyed his class and he was always fair to all of us. He was one of the good one. RIP SIR.
Condolences to the Cork family. My first 9 years of teaching at Waterford Township High School was spent sharing the hall between the maths and engineering departments. Vern, Lowell Cage, Big Ears Benson, Isabel Venie, Bob Line, Al Cuthrell, Ron Kovaleski, and the nieve Lee Ann. So many grand memories where made over a cup of joe.
So Sorry for your loss.

I am sorry for your loss Mrs. Cork, Wendy and Brian. I have such wonderful memories of your husband/father. My favorite picture in my mind is of him bringing apple fritters downstairs at the end of a Girl Scout meeting with a smile on his face! I will be praying for your family as you grieve your great loss of such a special man.
