MALVICH Barbara J.
of Waterford, passed away on May 26, 2017 at the age of 87. Beloved wife of Thomas Lloyd Malvich. Loving mother of Linda Malvich, Thomas Lloyd Malvich Jr., Lori Diane Malvich, Mark Alan Malvich, and H. Scott (Monica) Malvich. Loving grandmother of Krista (Chris) Doyle, H. Scott Malvich Jr., Rachel Malvich, Marlayna Malvich, Logan Malvich, Landon Malvich, Liam Malvich, and Leighton Malvich. Dear sister of the late Ralph White, the late Jack White, the late Harold White, Margaret Barron, and the late Doris Hodges-Winne.
Barbara JoAnne Malvich (White) was born March 4, 1930 in Pontiac Michigan. Barbara passed to heaven’s gate on May 26, 2017 in the presence of all her children. Barbara resided at Rockwell Memory Care from 2010 – 2017. She significantly touched the lives of her family, relatives, many friends and caregivers over the years. She knew and lived the life of Christ, loving the unlovely and making the rest of us laugh! Her kind nature and peacemaking spirit was evident to each person, whose life she touched.
Barbara passed at the age of 87 with a rich busy life. Playing the piano and organ as her parents began the Pontiac Rescue Mission with her siblings and their spouses. Barbara married Lloyd Malvich on August 11, 1951. She supported her husband in their landscaping business, opened her own beauty salon, ran the food concession at Stoneycroft Country Club in Bloomfield MI, and eventually had her own successful catering business. After Linda, Tom and Lori were born in Pontiac, they spent 10 years in the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois making precious lifetime friends. After Mark and Scott were born the family relocated back to Michigan in 1969. Barb, quickly became involved in local churches such as Emanuel Baptist Church, Waterford Community Church where the family grew deep roots and then finally The River Church (Formally, Faith Baptist Church).
Barb left a legacy of humor and practical jokes. Not one person she knew, likely escaped the evidence of one of her hysterical deeds. Feel free to prepare a note to share your unique experience with Barb.

God Bless you for having a great impact on my Mama's life.
In heavenly Father we pray-AMEN

I remember Mrs. Malvich growing up at Watwrford Community Church. She was a very nice lady. My sister and I have fond memories of helping her for a short while with some of the events she catered. It's these special memories I hold dear to my heart. My sincere comdolences to the Malvich family. Because we know Who holds the future, it is not goodbye, but until all are gathered together again.

Remembering your beautiful Mother, and the impact she had on all who knew her, including the Thomas family. We loved her wonderful sense of humor, contagious laughter, love for God and all of His children, and of course, her wonderful cooking! She was the absolute best!
