of Clarkston, died May 17, 2015 at 69 years of age. Born October 30, 1945 in Athens, Greece, the daughter of the late Nicholas and Helen Fountoukis. Beloved wife of the late George Vlahos; loving mother of Nick (Maria) Vlahos, Anna (Ed) Ketzler and Peter (Tracey) Vlahos; devoted grandmother of Nicholas, Kayla, Kassandra, George, Eddie, Joey, Alex, Katie and Jake. Mary along with her husband George owned and operated the Old Campus Restaurant by Wayne State University in Detroit. After her husband’s death she went to work for Chase Bank where she later retired as a personal banker. She was truly loved and will be missed by her children, grandchildren, dearest friends and those who knew her.
Family will receive friends Wednesday 2:00 - 9:00 p.m. with a Trisagion Service at 7:00 p.m. at COATS FUNERAL HOME-CLARKSTON. 8909 Dixie Hwy., Clarkston.
Thursday, May 21, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at St. John Greek Orthodox Church, 11455 Metro Parkway, Sterling Heights. Burial at White Chapel Cemetery, Troy.
